Do you need help with your asylum case?

If you requested for asylum, then you can go to Vluchtelingen in de Knel with all your juridical questions. They can also help you with the travel costs to go to your lawyer or court. 

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) assists migrants globally, also those who wish to return voluntarily to their country of origin. 

You have the right to call 112 and to go to the hospital in the case of medical emergencies.

You have the right to see a family  doctor and to call the General Practitioners office outside of regual hours. There are also organisations that provide health care specially for people who are undocumented.

In the Netherlands you have a right to necessary health care, even if you are undocumented. Every doctor has a legal duty to treat you. 

Undocumented migrants can go to any dentist for aid. However, everyone has to pay aid in full. For children who are below 18, the costs of normal dental care are partly reimbursed through the CAK. 

You have the right to get necessary medication with a referral from the doctor.

Are you pregnant? Then Vluchtelingen in de Knel can support you with getting the right care and temporary legal stay in the Netherlands. 

 

Centrum Seksueel Geweld (Sexual Assault Center) offers professional help for anyone who has experienced any form of rape or sexual assault. 

If you or someone you know is thinking about suicide, you can call 0800-0113. You can call them 24/7. Their services are free of charge and you can call or chat with them anonymously. 

Nidos is the national agency responsible for family supervision and guardianship. For children who apply for asylum without parent(s), Nidos provides (temporary) guardianship 

In the Red Cross Life Skills workshops you will learn more about dealing with difficult personal situations such as stress and how you can protect your own health.
